Working from Home

& getting creative…

So all events til late May have been canceled or rescheduled. Most have not even been rescheduled yet because of uncertainty and other events will have sooner reschedule dates than me. Due to COVID19, my slow season (January, February, and part of March) has now been extended for another three months. I am totally ok with this. Before non essential businesses were required to close, I canceled my upcoming in person meetings and changed them to video meetings. Sadly, those meetings were then put on hold because the people I was going to work with were no longer working either. So, the event industry that makes up all of my pay is at a stand still and we are going to take time to all heal.

Until then, I am taking my DIY Happy Hours to Instagram! Every weekday at 6PM I will post a new DIY project via IGTV. Every weekday morning before noon, I will post the materials needed for those that want to participate in the DIY Happy Hour! I am trying to do projects that require minimal materials and items you would find in your home. I also try to list alternatives to the materials in case you have access to those.

These IGTVs are free for everyone! I wish I could be hosting these happy hours in person, but til then I hope you can join me on Instagram. I hope everyone is at home staying healthy and safe. *I am also accepting pay what you can via Venmo @meghan-wingenfeld because my events normally are ticketed and I have no income for an unknown amount of time right now.
