The Lake Eerie Slime Cocktail

It’s gloomy out there and it doesn’t look like there is an end in sight! It’s going to be our first Halloween in our new Cleveland neighborhood and we were hoping to spend the evening passing out candy on the porch with an impeccably decorated lawn, front steps and creatively carved out pumpkins. I imagined we would meet our new neighbors and stop by with candy. Maybe take Ponyboy on a walk and check out all the other neighborhood décor. But not tomorrow! This rain keep coming down and now all I can think about is finishing up packing and pouring myself a drink at the end of tomorrow.

This Halloween cocktail is the same color as the glowing slime you might see on a swamp monster in a classic horror film. You can also personalize the name to whichever body of water your city loves or even loves to poke fun at. (If you’re from Cleveland you have a few options!) In NYC, we called our green drink East River Sludge, but tomorrow night Ill be making up some Lake Eerie Slime.

What you will need:
bottle of Hpnotiq (3 oz per drink)
bottle of Cognac (1.5 oz per drink)
tonic
ice
beaker set for serving

Directions:
Mix two parts Hpnotiq to one part cognac and serve over ice. Add a splash of tonic if you would like! The more Hpnotiq, the brighter the green!
